Bangabandhu Gallery was inaugurated on the premises of office of Superintendent of Police in Jamalpur on Friday.
Deputy Inspector General of Police, Mymenshingh Range, Debdas Bhattachariya inaugurated it as the chief guest. After the inauguration, a discussion was held at the conference room of Superintendent of Police.
In the meeting, Deputy Inspector General of Police Debdas Bhattachariya said setting up of Bangabandhu Gallery on the office premises of Jamalpur Superintendent of Police is an extending positive step. He said some rare pictures of Bangabandhu and books of various writers on Bangabandhu were placed at the gallery.
Chaired by Superintendent of Police Md Kamruzzaman, it was addressed ,among others, by Deputy Commissioner of Jamalpur Md Imran Ahmed, President of District Awami League Advocate Muhammad Baki Billah, its vice-president Faruk Ahammed Chowdhury, General Secretary Bizan Kumar Chanda and Jamalpur Municipality Mayor Sanowar Hossain Sanu. The chief guest also handed over prizes among the winners of quiz competition on Bangabandhu.
