A ‘Bangabandhu Corner’ has been set in the Bangladesh Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (BCSIR) on Thursday by remembering Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and his sacrifice, says a press release.
There are 500 more books on Bangabandhu, 100 more valuable pictures and rare letters written by Bangabandhu placed in the corner for the readers and visitors.
The corner has been inaugurated by the chief guest, Md Anwar Hossen, Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Science and Technology at the BCSIR’s secretariat, Dhanmondi, Dhaka-1205. Delwar Hossain, Forest and environmental related secretary of Bangladesh Awami-league was the special guest. BCSIR Chairman Professor Aftab Ali Shaikh presided over the occation.
Among others, Muhammad Showkat Ali Member (Admin), Secretary of BCSIR, Directors and other concerned officials were present at the occasion.
