Bandarban tourist spots get popular among Eid holidaymakers

Even on the fourth day of Eid, almost all the tourist spots of Bandarban, a land of amazing natural beauty, are becoming popular among tourists.

On Wednesday one of the most popular tourist spots in Bandarban is Nilachal and Meghla.

Tourist spots can be seen around, forgetting the mechanics and busyness of work with family, nature lovers are gathering crowds to spend their holidays in the touch of nature. Many travelers are also seen enjoying dancing and singing. However, the number of visitors to the tourist spots was higher in the surrounding districts of Chittagong and locals.

On Wednesday Bandarban's Meghla, Nilachal, Shailya Prapat, Prantik Lake, Nilgiri, various tourist spots can be seen on the ground and the number of tourists from far and wide is less than other times. However, Bandarban local and adjoining Chittagong, Cox's Bazar area tourists have been noticed more.

Every tourist spot is full of tourist arrivals. From small to big and some are coming to Bandarban with their families. They are flocking to the tourist centers from one end to the other to enjoy the joy of Eid. Tourists do not want to miss that opportunity. Visitors and tourists have been arriving at various tourist centers since morning. As the day progresses, the crowds increase in various tourist destinations including Nilachal, Meghla, Shail Prapat, Prantilek and Chimbuk. Besides, the people of the hill towns also welcomed the arrival of tourists.

According to the information provided from the ticket counters of various tourist destinations in Bandarban, the arrival of tourists is normal this Eid. Adib Barua, who is in charge of the count, said that more than 1,000 tickets were sold in Meghla and 2,800 in Nilachal.

That is why he has come with his family to enjoy the natural scenery of Bandarban.

Md Kamal Hossain, general secretary of Bandarban Jeep-Mahendra-Microbus Workers' Union, said the number of tourists arriving this Eid was less than other times.

Bandarban Zone Tourist Police Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mohammad Jahangir Alam said tourists from different parts of the country visit Bandarban throughout the year. More and more tourists are coming for the Eid holidays, so to ensure all kinds of safety for the tourists, all the members of the tourist police are canceling their holidays and working relentlessly in the tourist spots. No untoward incident has been reported so far, the police official said.

Bandarban Zone Tourist Superintendent of Police Mohammad Abdul Halim said tourist spots are usually overflowing with tourists during the Eid holidays. With that in mind, the leave of all members of the Tourist Police, Bandarban Region has been canceled. Everyone has been asked to be vigilant so that no untoward incidents take place in the tourist spots during Eid. Visitors can also lodge complaints at the tourist police, Bandarban zone Facebook page and hotline number if they encounter any harassment or any problem at the tourist spot, the police official said. .
