Former general secretary of Bagerhat district Awami League, freedom fighter Advocate Fakir Mohammad Mansur Ali (75) died after being infected with coronavirus.
Fakir Md. Mansur Ali was the general secretary of Bagerhat district Awami League for 20 years. He died at a hospital in Dhaka.
According to family sources, the body of Fakir Mohammad Mansur Ali will be brought to Bagerhat on Thursday. He will be buried in the family graveyard at KachuaUpazilaSadar on the same day as a freedom fighter in accordance with the Corona Health Rules.
