A group of former students of BAF Shaheen College Kurmitola has distributed winter clothes to the poor people affected by cold waves in several parts of Dhaka city. The programme was conducted by the members of the group called BAF SK Eagles SSC'91 and HSC'93, a voluntary organisation that serves underprivileged people in Bangladesh, said a press release.
The fund was collected from its members living abroad and the country. About 500 poor people received warm clothes and blankets in Mirpur and Mohammadpur areas in the early hours of Saturday. Members of the group Chayon, Mahboob, Javed, Milton, Monir, Asad and former teacher Moyaz Uddin attended the event.
