BAF recruits’ passing out parade held

The passing out parade of Recruits’ Entry No-49 of Bangladesh Air Force was held at the Recruits’ Training School (RTS) in BAF Station Shamshernagar, Moulvibazar on Thursday (18-11-2021).

Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Shaikh Abdul Hannan, BUP, nswc, fawc, psc reviewed the smartly turned out parade and took salute as the Chief Guest. Later, he distributed trophies to the outstanding recruit. In his speech the Chief of Air Staff advised the recruits to use honesty, integrity and sincerity as their pillar to develop themselves as worthy airmen of Bangladesh Air Force. He hoped that by displaying true patriotism, they would make effective contribution in safeguarding the airspace of Bangladesh.

 A total of 626 recruits have passed out through this parade. AC-2 Tasnimur Rahman was adjudged as the best recruit both in Academics and General Service Training. He also was adjudged as the best recruit for all round performance. On arrival, Chief of Air Staff was received in the colourful parade ground of RTS by Air Officer Commanding of BAF Base Bashar Air Vice Marshal Muhammad Kamrul Islam, GUP, nswc, afwc, psc and Officer Commanding of Recruits’ Training School Group Captain Mohammad Saifuddin, GUP, psc.

Among others, honorable MP Vice Principal Dr. Md. Abdus Shahid, senior officers of Bangladesh Air Force, civil and military dignitaries of the local area were also present in the ceremony.
