Bangladesh Air Force on Tuesday night brought COVID infected patient former parliamentarian urgently from Satkhira to Dhaka.
According to the ISPR press release on Wednesday, Mansur Ahmed, who is also the President of Satkhira District Awami League was transferred urgently from Satkhira to by MI-171SH helicopter of BAF.
Later, he was taken to Bangladeh Specialized Hospital in city’s Shyamoli for better treatment.
BAF remains ready to provide emergency air transport and medical evacuation (MEDEVAC) assistance in aid to civil power to protect coronavirus and continuing various activities following the policy published by the government to affirm its commitment to meet all emergency needs in a professional manner. In line with this, emergency air transport support was provided through this MEDEVAC mission.
