Bangladesh Agricultural Economists Association (BAEA) recently organised a webinar titled “National Budget 2021-22: Sustainable Development and Lives-Livelihood amid Covid-19”, stated a press release.
Planning Minister MA Mannan was present at the seminar as chief guest where Dhaka University ‘Bangabandhu Chair’ professor and former Bangladesh Bank governor Dr Atiur Rahman spoke as special guest. Former senior secretary of Prime Minister’s office and BAEA member presided over the programme. Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU) professors Dr Ismat Ara Begum and Dr. Mohammad Jahangir Alam presented the keynote papers. Senior secretary of Planning Commission Dr Shamsul Alam shared his views in the seminar as a key discussant among others.
