A badminton tournament, organised by Chuadanga Officers’ Club, was inaugurated in Chuadanga marking the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
Nazrul Islam Sarker, Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Chuadanga, inaugurated the tournament on Sunday evening (January 17).
On the occasion, a discussion was arranged there with Monira Parvin, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) in the chair. It was addressed by Jahidul Islam, Superintendent of Police, Khalequzzaman, Commanding Officer of BGB Battalion-6, Nayeem Hasan Joarder, General Secretary of Zela Krira Sangstha (District Sports Association) and Abdul Latif Khan Joboraj, Chairman of Seven One.
