Popular actress Azmeri Haque Badhon starred in a web series of director Srijit Mukherji based on the novel titled ‘Rabindranath Ekhane Kokhno Khete Asen Ni’ by Bangladeshi writer Mohammad Nazim Uddin.
Badhon played the role of ‘Mushkan Juberi’ in the web series. Praising Badhon’s work, director Srijit Mukherji wrote on Facebook on Monday that he is proud to work with the actress.
Srijit shared a photo taken during the shooting with Badhon and wrote, “The dubbing and background music work of ‘Rabindranath Ekhane Kokhno Khete Asen Ni’ is finally over. Respect to Badhon for her self-sacrifice for the job.”
“Despite continuing to shoot in adverse circumstances, countless questions about the work, the role of ‘Mushkan Juberi’ and made me proud,” he added.
‘Rabindranath Ekhane Kokhno Khete Asen Ni’' was shot at Zero Point in Sikkim and the Bardhaman-Durgapur area of West Bengal. The series will be aired on the Indian OTT platform Hoichoi.
Bandhan is feeling stressed relieved after getting such recognition from Srijit. She said, “It is a fact that I feel relieved when I get encouragement or praise from a producer. It seems that all the labor is successful. I clearly remember this picture was taken on January 10. I have started work from December 16 last year.
The makeup on my face in the picture is taken for the aftermath of the plane crash. Still ringing in my ears, Srijit was telling me to take this picture after the shooting was packed up, ‘Thank you for not proving me wrong.
I still believe that without you, I would not have been able to bring up this character so well and appreciated my work by saying those words in front of everyone on Facebook. It's a big certificate for me. "
