Popular web series Bachelor Point is making a much-awaited return this Eid with its fifth season. The announcement came at a press conference held on Sunday evening at a club in Gulshan, where the cast and crew shared their excitement with the media.
Director Kajal Arefin Ome, reflecting on the show’s journey, said, "When I started the 'Bachelor Point' series, I had no idea what the future held. I began the work with a small budget and full sincerity. It’s the audience's love that brought us to this fifth season after 26 months."
He added that over the past two years, he worked on several web-based projects and gained valuable cinematic experience. This time, he hopes to deliver that same cinematic touch in the new season’s direction.
The event was attended by popular cast members including Marzuk Russell, Chashi Alam, Ziaul Hoque Polash, Abdullah Rana, Monira Mithu, Musafir Syed, Shimul Sharma, Saidur Rahman Pavel, Faria Shahrin, Lalima, and others.
Season 5 will be released in two phases. The first eight episodes will be available for streaming on the Bongo app on Eid day. The remaining eight episodes will be released in July. On the first Thursday of July, episodes will be available on the Bongo app at 7 pm. On the same night, the first episode will premiere at 9 pm on Boom Films' official YouTube channel and at 9.30 pm on Channel i.
The second episode will follow on Friday night, continuing this pattern weekly. The previous season of Bachelor Point aired its final episode at the end of 2022, and fans have eagerly awaited the show's return.
