Today is the first death anniversary of beloved rock-legend Ayub Bachchu. Channel i has organized a special programmed called ‘Smriti Dohon’ in his memory. Tanvir Tarek wrote the script and will host the show which will feature several celebrities. The stars will reminisce their time with Ayub Bachchu and share their memories of him.
The show will broadcasted today on Channel i at 9:30 pm. The show will feature guest stars LRB founding member and popular musician SI Tutul, LRB bass guitarist and Ayub Bachchu’s close friend Saidul Hasan Swapan, LRB lyricist Latiful Islam Shibli and Bappi Khan.
The tribute show will showcase stars talking about fights with Ayub Bachchu, reminiscing about music, the future of LRB and many more topics. The show was planned by famous author of children's literature Amirul Islam and directed by Jamal Reza.
Tanvir Tarek said, ‘It has been one year since Ayub Bachchu left us. I wanted to gather 4 individuals who Ayub Bachchu spent most of his life with. He spent more time with them than even his own family members. They shared many of their special moments with him. They talked of their fights, the struggles and joy of working with Ayub Bachchu.’
