Aiming to foster a welfare state and promote self-reliance among citizens, Jamalpur Sadar Upazila organized a comprehensive awareness meeting on the Universal Pension Scheme.

Under the guidance of Upazila Executive Officer Mehnaz Ferdous, the meeting convened at the Sadar Upazila meeting room on Thursday, drawing participation from various stakeholders.

Urging social mobilization, the meeting called upon NGOs, religious leaders, educators, journalists, and other stakeholders to champion the universal pension scheme as a societal imperative.
