A sharing meeting on awareness on medical waste management at the conference room of the civil surgeon in Jhenidah was held.
Lifestyle of the ministry of health, health education bureau and promotion sections with the assistance of a non-governmental organization Bangladesh Medical Science Home organized the progrrame on Monday noon.
Presided over by civil surgeon Dr. Salina Begum, medical officer of the civil surgeon office Dr. Prasenjit Biswas Partha, Dr. Nishat Tasnim, health education officer Wahiduzzaman among others spoke.
Lifestyle, health education and promotion team leader Tanzila Sumaiya Siddiquee monitored the programme where a number of physicians participated.
The speakers expressed their opinion to separate the medical waste from the starting point and manage the same. They also discussed on the guidelines released by the world health organization (WHO) source.
