An awareness and discussion meeting was held at Sarabaria High School in Garaitupi Union, Sadar Upazila of Chuadanga district on Tuesday. The event, organised by the school’s managing committee, focused on improving the quality of education, preventing child marriage, and raising awareness about the dangers of drug abuse.
The meeting was presided over by Advocate Mashiur Rahman Parvez, with Assistant Headteacher Rabiul Haque serving as moderator. Nayan Kumar Rajbangshi, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education and ICT), attended as the chief guest. Mostafizur Rahman, Additional Superintendent of Police, was present as the special guest.
Other speakers included Shahid Titumir, Officer-in-Charge of Darshana Police Station, former headteacher Anisur Rahman, Ataur Rahman, Headteacher of Sarabaria Government Primary School, and Sharmin Sultana, Headteacher of Goherpur Government Primary School.
