As a pre-preparation, "Preparatory SSC and Dakhil examinations" started among 1,057 students of Austagram upazila in order to allay the fears of SSC examinations. Austagram Upazila Administration authorities led by Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Harun-ur-Rashid organized the preparatory examination for SSC and Dakhil candidates of various educational institutions.
Upazila administration organized a 3-hour preparatory test of 100 marks in two subjects on its own initiative. Examinations were organized in 4 centers for the students of 14 educational institutions of Austagram upazila. To improve the quality of education, Austagram UNO took this initiative. The UNO is praised for this dynamism by teachers, parents, and students.
Regarding this, UNO Harun-ur-Rashid said, “Due to coronavirus pandemic, the syllabus has been shortened up and students are distracted from the study. The pre-preparation test has been organized to encourage the education system."
According to the Upazila administration sources, SSC and Dakhil examinations will be held on 19th of June. Talking to teachers and parents about the UNO's initiative, they said that the test would enable students to concentrate on their studies and test their talents. They are also optimistic that such a system would be introduced in different parts of the country at some point.
