Aus seeds and fertilizers distribution among farmers programme was inaugurated in Chuadanga district on Wednesday.
Nazrul Islam Sarker, Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Chuadanga as the chief guest distributed the seeds and fertilizers among the farmers on the premises of Sadar upazila office. The seeds and fertilizers are being distributed among 3,800 farmers in the upazilaat free of cost.
Sadiqur Rahman, UNO of Sadar Upazila, Begum Israt Jahan, AC (land) and Talha Jubayer Masrur, Agriculture Officer of Sadar Upazila were present at the inaugural session of distribution.
Talha Jubayer Masrur, Sadar Upazila Agriculture Officer told Bangladesh Post that Sadar Uapazila agriculture office will distribute 19000 kgs of Aus paddy seeds, 76000 kgs of DAP fertilizer and 38000 kgs of MOP fertilizer among 3800 farmers in the upazila free of cost.
