Aupee Karim—an acclaimed actress who hardly appears in television drama is a regular face in theater.
The play ‘Dear Liar’ was staged at the Studio Theatre Hall of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy on Friday and Aupee Karim was seen acting against the pioneer actor Ataur Rahman in the play.
The play revolves around the love story between British playwright George Bernard Shaw and British actress Patrick Campbell.
Of late, Aupee Karim also acted in a play with Nagorik Natto Shomproday written under the influence of William Shakespear’s famous play-- ‘The Merchant of Venice’.
The name of the play has not been fixed. Pantha Shahriar is going to direct this 16th century play. Asaduzzaman Noor will also appear in the play which is going to be staged on 29th of this November.
