Bodhiratna Barua has been accused of harassing the real land owner by creating fake documents and certificates in Ukhia Upazila.
The accused is the son of deceased Kshirod Chandra Barua of Kotbazar area of Ratnapalong Union. The written complaint of Zafar Alam Contractor, son of deceased Muhammad Ali of Tuturbil area of Rajapalang Union, who was harassed, revealed that Bodhiratna Barua is a member of the fraudulent gang and a land robber and a man of great dacoit nature. He does not follow the laws of the land.
Land embezzlement of common people has been going on for a long time through fraudulent activities.
Accused Bodhiratna Barua created a fake document dated 10/04/1942 No. 1278 in the name of Kshirod Chandra by forging the seal signature of Chittagong Sub-Registrar and Registry Office. When challenged before the court of the learned Judicial Magistrate in this regard, the document was revealed in the report of District Registrar-Chittagong as recipient Shri Khairati Mia Mistry, son of Bacha Mia, North Halishahar of Doublemooring Police Station, Chittagong.
Suman Barua, another victim and the plaintiff of another case No. 135/2023, said that Bodhiratna Barua is trying to disturb the calm environment by placing a container in front of Kotbazar Arab City by insisting on Akhil Chandra Barua's famous raiyat ownership by fraudulently creating other's land khatyan. He does not comply with the ban of the learned Joint District Judge Court.
He also informed that 84, 86, 207 dags of RS 943 Khatian of Ratnapalong Mauza belong to Akhil Chandra Barua's raiyat 11th century land. He was survived by three sons Nikunj Bihari Barua, Bipin Chandra Barua and Nirmal Chandra Barua. Meanwhile, Bodhiratna Barua Gong took possession of 6 karas even though he originally owned 4 karas after buying the shares of Bipin and Nirmal in 84 spots.
In the same way they are harassing the real owner by creating BS khatian in Rs 86 dag through forgery.
When asked about the forgery, the accused Bodhiratna Barua said that the complaint brought against him by the complainant is not correct.
When the attention of Ukhia Police Station Officer Shamim Hossain was drawn to the tension between the two sides over the placing of containers in Kotbazar, he said that the police will work according to the law to maintain peace and order.
In this regard, Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Saleh Ahmad said that the matter will be investigated if the complaint is received properly.
