A human chain was held to protest against the barbaric attack on Deputy Assistant Engineer of Rajshahi Public Works Division-2 Delwar Hossain and to demand exemplary punishment of the perpetrators in Jhalakathi on Wednesday afternoon.
Jhalakathi Public Works Department (PWD) Deputy Assistant Engineer Kamal Hossain Hawlader, Bangladesh Diploma Engineering Association Jhalakati District Branch President Sanjib Kumar Debnath, General Secretary Samarjit Singh and others spoke during the programme.
The speakers demanded exemplary punishment for the barbaric attack on Delwar Hossain, Deputy Assistant Engineer, Rajshahi Public Works Division-2. Officers and employees of Jhalakathi Public Works Department took part in the hour-long human chain.
