Md. Atikul Islam recently joined Rajshahi Krishi Unnayan Bank as General Manager.
Prior to his joining in RAKUB he was working as General Manager of Bangladesh House Building Finance Corporation.
He was born in 1967 in a noble Muslim family in Kandivita village of Natore district. He obtained LL.M degree with LL.B Hons from Rajshahi University.
Atikul Islam started his career in Bangladesh House Building Finance Corporation in 1995 as a Law Officer.
During his career, he held the important duties as Law Officer, Zonal Manager and the head of various departments of HBFC. He was promoted as General Manager in 2018 and satisfactorily served as Chief of the Eastern Region and the Project Director of “Rural and Peri-Urban Housing Finance Project” of the Corporation.
