Young musician Atika Yamin launched her debut single ‘Ek Poslah Brisiti’ on Tuesday February 22, through a musical evening held at a restaurant in Dhaka. The composer of the song is Sohag Chakraborty while Atika wrote the lyrics herself. The music video directed by Prithwijeet Saha and edited by Affan Aziz Pritul was also launched at the program.
The song speaks about the story of temporary infatuation and relationship that is unfulfilled. Just like a burst of rain that does not quench the thirst. This relationship also leaves the singer wanting more. But that does not stop her from overcoming the barriers and shining through.
In addition to her budding original song repertoire, Atika is the voice behind many advertising, drama and cinema songs.
Celebrated musician Mehreen Mahmud & Fuad Naser Babu, renowned debater and TV personality Abdur Noor Tushar was present at the event along with many other prominent guests.
