Renowned stage artist Ataur Rahman has been made a member of the advisory committee of Bangladesh Awami League (AL). Awami League President Sheikh Hasina gave the nomination exercising her power given by party’s 20th National Council held on October 22 and 23, 2016, said a press release signed by AL office secretary Dr Abdus Sobhan Golap today.
Ataur Rahman entertained the audience in various theatre halls of the country with his powerful depiction of characters from famous novels and short stories. His presence and his dialogue delivery reached a level of excellence that delighted the audience. He was also involved in many theatre related organisations and training programmes to create new performers in the country.
