Asraf Ali asks bankers to discharge duties sincerely

State Minister for Fisheries and Livestock Md Ashraf Ali Khan Khasru, MP, has called upon the bankers to discharge their duties actively, honesty and sincerely in a bid to make the country as Sonar Bangla. “Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman had dreamt for Sonar Bangla. All of us including the bankers should work to fulfill the dream of Bangabandhu,” he said. 

He said these while speaking as the chief guest at the opening ceremony of an Area Office of Janata Bank Limited in Netrakona on Thursday. He formally inaugurated the area office by cutting ribbon.  

Md Ismail Husain, Assistant General Manager of Janata Bank, presided over the function, while it was addressed, among others, by Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Netrakona M Mayeenul Islam, Police Super S M Asraful Alam, Mayor of Netrakona municipality Alhaj Nazrul Islam Khan and Shayamol Krishna Shaha G M of  Janata Bank, Abdul Wahed, President of  Chambers and Commerce Industries in Netrakona, Muzammel Haq, secretary of Bangabandhu Parishad, Mymenshingh, CBA leader Pradip Kumar Roy.  

Ashraf Ali Khan Khasru urged the bankers to ensure the bank service easy for the common people. 

“Our country has been progressing day day under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. She declared Zero Tolerance policy against corruption, terrorism, drug abuse and militancy. The bankers should play positive role in this regard,” he said.
