President of Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSD) ASM Abdur Rab congratulated Farida Yasmin for being elected as the first female president of the National Press Club. He also congratulated newly elected general secretary Elias Khan and newly elected leaders of the press club management committee for the 2021-22 tenure.
The JSD President extended the greetings through a congratulatory statement issued on Saturday.
In the statement, ASM Abdur Rab said that the National Press Club got a first elected female president in its history of 66 years. It is a proud matter for woman society. Farida Yasmin’s victory in the National Press Club elections will create opportunity for woman empowerment in the society.
