ASEAN Dhaka Committee Golf Tournament 2026 held at Kurmitola Golf Club

The ASEAN Dhaka Committee (ADC), comprising the Heads of Mission of ASEAN Member States accredited to Bangladesh, organised the ASEAN Dhaka Committee Golf Tournament 2026 at Kurmitola Golf Club, Dhaka, on  8 August.

The tournament was held in conjunction with the commemoration of the 59th Anniversary of ASEAN, and reflected ASEAN’s continuing commitment to fostering friendship, goodwill and closer people-to-people engagement with partners and the wider diplomatic community in Bangladesh.

The event also served to enhance ASEAN’s visibility and outreach in Bangladesh, providing an opportunity to promote greater awareness of ASEAN and its shared values, while further strengthening engagement and goodwill between ASEAN Member States and the Bangladeshi community.

The tournament brought together ASEAN Heads of Mission and representatives, members of the Diplomatic Corps, guests of the Tiger Golf Club and representatives of the wider golfing community in Bangladesh.

The event commenced with the first tee-off at 7.00 a.m. and was followed by a luncheon and Prize-giving Ceremony. Tournament prizes were presented by ASEAN Heads of Mission, followed by a raffle draw and the presentation of commemorative crests in appreciation of the support extended to the event.

The ASEAN Dhaka Committee expressed its sincere appreciation to the sponsors and partners whose generous support contributed to the successful organisation of the tournament, namely Manola, Novo Cargo Services Ltd., FUJITEC, Ultra Embroidery and Abdul Monem Ltd.

The ADC also conveyed its appreciation to Tiger Golf Club, Kurmitola Golf Club, participating golfers, invited guests, the Tournament Committee and all support personnel for their cooperation and contribution to the successful conduct of the event.

The ASEAN Dhaka Committee Golf Tournament 2026 provided an informal platform for strengthening friendship and interaction among ASEAN representatives, the Diplomatic Corps and the golfing community in Bangladesh.

It also reflected ASEAN’s broader commitment to promoting dialogue, friendship and cooperation beyond formal diplomatic engagements.

The event formed part of the ASEAN Dhaka Committee’s activities commemorating the 59th Anniversary of ASEAN, reaffirming the spirit of solidarity among ASEAN.
