Aruna Biswas, the acclaimed actress of Bangladeshi cinema, is now busy in multi-dimensional work. In addition to acting, she is busy being a member of the censor board. She also won the position of an executive member in the recent election of film artistes’ association the oath taking ceremony of which was on Wednesday.
But despite all this busyness, Aruna Biswas feels comfortable in acting because she thinks that she will be able to stay alive among the audience through her acting. So whatever work she might be busy with she never takes it easy on her acting. Simply put, Aruna can skip everything for acting. But she has no intention of doing anything other than acting.
In the meantime, Aruna has seen the movie ‘Kantha’, starring Jaya Ahsan, on the censorship board. Aruna Biswas said, “It was nice to see a film after a long time. Rabindranath is our national poet. There is so much more to love about this film. The story of the movie is fantastic. And Jaya has done really well. Viewers of this type of movie will be interested in watching it.”
Meanwhile, ‘Dongiri’ starring Aruna Biswas and directed by Shah Alam Mondol has been released recently. In the movie, Aruna plays opposite to Aliraj. She is also getting a lot of response for acting in this movie. In the meantime, Aruna has completed nearly completed the work on the ‘Shan’ directed by Rahim. In this she plays the role of Pooja Cherry's mother. Besides, she is acting in two television drama series one airing on Deepto TV titled ‘Bhalobashar Alo Adhar’ and the other is airing on ATN Bangla.
