Bangladesh's famous rock band Artcell is celebrating 25 years in music with an exciting tour in the United States. The band began their US tour on September 7 at Purdue University in Indiana. Since then, they have performed in several cities, including Virginia on September 22 and Los Angeles on September 27.
The band played in Dallas and Houston on October 5 and 11, respectively, before moving to Philadelphia on October 14.
They are now ready to perform in Denver today, where fans are eager to see them live.
Lead guitarist Kazi Faisal Ahmed spoke about their experience in the US, saying, "We've already done seven shows here, and the response has been mind-blowing. Every venue has been packed with fans, and the love we are receiving is beyond anything we expected." He added that this is their first time performing in the US, and they are thrilled by the warm welcome.
Due to high demand, Artcell will have another concert in Virginia on October 23. Their tour will wrap up with a final show in New York on October 26. The band plans to return to Bangladesh on October 29 after this successful journey.
Artcell, formed in 1999, quickly became one of Bangladesh's top rock bands. Their second album, "Oniket Prantor," released in 2006, became a rock anthem in the country.
After a 17-year break, they released their third album, "Otritio," on February 23, 2023. With their exciting performances and dedicated fans, Artcell remains a powerful presence in the music scene.
