Arsenal, Man United blockbuster clash today

Arsenal host Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium in London on Sunday in one of the Premier League behemoth clashes between two English giants.

The Gunners are two points off the pace set by last season's title winners Manchester City after their dramatic 2-2 draw with Fulham last time out.

United are a point behind in eighth after claiming their second unconvincing win of the season with a 3-2 comeback triumph over Nottingham Forest.

Rasmus Hojlund is fit and available for Manchester United and could make his Premier League debut against Arsenal this weekend, manager Erik ten Hag said on Friday.

The Danish striker joined the club from Atalanta for a reported fee of 72 million pounds ($91.22 million) before the season began, but has yet to feature for United due to a back injury.

"He had a good training week, tomorrow we have a final training, but he is doing well, he is responding well, so yeah he will be available for Sunday's game," Ten Hag told reporters before the game with Arsenal at Emirates Stadium.

Another player who could make his first appearance for the club is new signing Sergio Reguilon. The Spanish left back has arrived from Tottenham Hotspur.

"He is here, he trained," the Dutch manager confirmed.

"He's a very experienced player, played for big clubs, already played a lot of LaLiga and Premier League games, he has a very good background, he can play very intense football, we are happy."

United also signed Sofyan Amrabat in the last hours of the transfer deadline day. However, he will not be available against Arsenal.

Meanwhile, Arteta has come under fire for using Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey as a right-back with licence to roam forward in Arsenal's first three Premier League games.

But the results have been mixed for the Gunners, who have opened their title challenge with unconvincing wins over Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace, followed by a draw against 10-man Fulham.

Asked if he felt like reverting to last season's approach for Sunday's clash with Manchester United, Arteta likened the dilemma to the challenges he faces commuting from his home to Arsenal's London Colney training base.
