A human chain was formed in front of Chuadanga Press Club on June 10 demanding arrest and punishment of killers of Saiful Islam. According to sources, Siaful Islam of village Pirpurkullah of Damurhuda upazila went out of his home on May 24 and did not return home. His family members did not trace out him.
On May 25 Damurhuda police recovered his body from village Kutubpur in the upazila. Father of the victim Abdar Rahman filed a case against five persons with Damurhuda police station.
A press conference was held on the day. AbdarRahman, father of the deceased stated that nobody was arrested by police till now. So he demanded at the press conference to arrest the killers of his son. Later a human chain was formed in front of the press club.
Munsur Ali, Mizanur Rahmanand Hanefuddin addressed at the human chain. Relatives and villagers took part at the human chain program.
