Army Football team moved into final of the Bangabandhu 9th Bangladesh Games men’s football event held at Shaheed Dhirendranath Datta stadium in Cumilla on Tuesday.
The first semifinal Army Football Team win over BKSP by 3-1 goals to emerge the final. Striker Kawser broke the deadlock in the 33rd minutes of the outings for Army Football team. BKSP’s forward Touhidul equalized at the injury time of the first half. The first half ended with one-all draw.
After the resumption, Army was in attacking mood. They got the chance and utilize them. Sanchay made the double for the team in 80th minutes, scoring the goal by penalty shootout. In the last minute this forward pushed the ball in to BKSP net and certain the teams into final.
