Bandarban zone of Bangladesh Army has distributed warm clothes among more than a hundred poor and distress people at Army Camp area of Rowangchhari upazila in Bandarban on Monday.
Under the direction of Bandarban Army Zone Commander Lt Col. Akhter-us-Samad Rafi, Commander of Rowangchhari sub-zone Captain Akib Ahmed distributed these warm clothes among cold-hit people.
The poor people from different inaccessible areas of Rowangchhari upazila came to this programme to receive winter clothes from Army. Torkhob Bom, a 75-year old man, said that are very grateful as Bandarban Army Zone organised the warm clothes distribution programme.
Captain Akib Ahmed said that members of Bangladesh Army are working relentlessly for law and order in hills. The Army members are also providing service to poor and helpless people in the hill districts. It will continue in future, he added.
