Members of armed forces distributed relief materials, sprayed germicides on road and made awareness campaign in various municipalities and upazilas of the district on Wednesday.
Lieutenant Colonel Bakhtiar Uddin, Commander of 222 Infantry Brigade of 4 East Bengal Regiment led the programmes. The army team headed by Captain Kaosar distributed relief among real jobless, distressed people at Garoa of Sadar upazila and various other places.
The relief recipients and general people were also warned through microphones by the army to maintain social distance and to move cautiously only due to extreme necessity. The army team also sprayed germicides in various roads. Army team distributed around 100 packages of rice, pulse and other essential commodities among real helpless and distressed of the upazila.
