Army has started to give food items to the workless people at Alamdanga upazila of Chuadanga district on April 14. According to captain Mukit, Headquarters of Bangladesh Army instructed them to collect the list of workless people from UNOs and upazila chairmen. Accordingly the local army collected the list of Alamdanga upazila from UNO and Upazila chairman and verified the list with the help of ward councilors.
On April 14, the army personnel, led by captain Mukit, gave food items to workless people of Horijon Colony and Bezpara area in Alamdanga upazila town. Lieutenant Colonel Asif, officer in charge of Chuadanga district was present at the distribution program.
