Bangladesh Army is extending round-the-clock medical support to students injured in the recent anti-discrimination movement, which began on August 18, 2024.
As of today, 2,533 students have received medical attention at Combined Military Hospitals (CMHs) across the country, including the primary facility in Dhaka and 10 other CMHs nationwide, according to a press release issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations Directorate (ISPR).
While 867 of these students remain under active treatment, others have been discharged and have returned home following significant progress in their recovery.
Bangladesh Army has been providing both emergency and advanced healthcare services to expedite the recovery process for injured students, responding to the urgent need for specialized care and treatment.
The initiative underscores the army’s dedication to public welfare, ensuring that the affected students receive high-quality medical attention promptly and effectively.
