The Army Chief’s Parade for the Recruit Batch 2025 of the Bangladesh Army’s Engineers and Signals Corps was held on Thursday at the Engineer Centre and School of Military Engineering (ECSME) in Qadirabad Cantonment, Natore.
Major General Iftikhar Anis, Director General of the Bangladesh Institute of International and Strategic Studies (BIISS), attended the event as the Chief Guest, reviewed the parade, and took the salute.
On the same day, another Army Chief’s Parade for the Recruit Batch 2025 of the Engineers and Signals Corps was held at the Signal Training Centre and School (STC&S) in Jashore Cantonment.
Major General Md Nasim Parvez, Commandant of the Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST), attended the ceremony as Chief Guest, reviewed the parade, and took the salute.
Through these splendid and disciplined parades, the newly trained soldiers of the Engineers and Signals Corps formally joined the Bangladesh Army as proud new members.
The chief guests at both events highlighted the glorious heritage and vital contributions of the Engineers and Signals Corps to the service of the nation. They urged the new soldiers to acquire advanced, modern training and professional skills to meet the challenges of the 21st century. The guests also encouraged the recruits to dedicate themselves with sincerity and patriotism to the service of the Motherland.
Senior military and civil officials of the Bangladesh Army, JCOs, soldiers of various ranks, invited guests, family members of the graduating recruits, and members of the media were present and enjoyed the impressive parade.
