President of Bangladesh Olympic Association and Chief of Army Staff General SM Shafiuddin Ahmed returned home on Friday after attending the Qatar Grand Prix-2023 held in Qatar.
During the visit, General Shafiuddin paid a courtesy call on Chief of Staff of Qatar Armed Forces Lieutenant General Salem bin Hamad bin Mohammed bin Aqeel Al Nabit.
At the meeting, they discussed various issues of development concerning bilateral relations and mutual cooperation between the armed forces of the two countries.
Chief of Army Staff General SM Shafiuddin Ahmed went to Qatar at the invitation of Mohammed Yousef Almana, the first vice president of the Qatar Olympic Committee and President of the Qatar Weightlifting Federation.
