Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB-6) recovered two foreign pistols, two locally-made shooter gun, 29 rounds of bullet and three magazines Mahmudpur area under Alipur union of Sadar Upazila in Satkhira on Monday.
The arms and ammunitions were recovered from a garden in the area. However, none was arrested in this connection.
Company Commander of Satkhira RAB camp, ASP Nazmul Haque, said the members of RAB were patrolling in Alipur. Acting on a tip-off, they recovered the arms and ammunitions from a suspicious shopping bag in a garden in the area. The arms and ammunitions were handed over to Satkhira Sadar Police Station.
