Members of the Armed Forces started their fieldwork in Cox's Bazar in full swing on Wednesday to help the civil administration ensure that people maintain social distancing and coronavirus suspects remain in home quarantine to prevent the spread of the Covid-19.

Multiple army vehicles have been seen patrolling almost every area of the district. Earlier on Tuesday, Cox's Bazar district administration and Armed Forces finalized the work plan of the army and their inspection area.

The army had started patrolling since Wednesday morning. With the help of district administration armed forces personnel made sure there were no gatherings in the towns and upazilas in Cox's Bazar and made sure that people maintained social distancing.

If any coronavirus affected patient is found, army will also provide the full support for his/her treatment. In addition, a large number of new check posts and patrol operations have been increased manifold in the area of the forcedly displaced Myanmar civilian camps.

On Wednesday morning, it was reported that people from various areas of the district seen fewer after army deployed. Many areas are found almost lonesome.  Tourist centers, including sea beaches were also found empty at this time.
