A two-day ‘Armed Forces Income Tax Fair-2019′ will begin on Tuesday at the city’s Sena Malancha convention hall aiming to facilitate tax services to the armed forces’ members, reports BSS.
Tax Zone-9, Dhaka, of the National Board of Revenue (NBR) and the Armed Forces Division (AFD) are jointly organising the tax fair with a view to promoting income tax culture. NBR Chairman Md Mosharraf Hossain Bhuiyan will inaugurate the fair as the chief guest while Assistant Chief of Naval Staff (Logistics) Rear Admiral M Lokmanur Rahman will be present as the special guest. At the fair venue, tax officials will offer various tax-related services, including taxpayer identification number (TIN) registration, return submission and consultancy. Earlier, the NBR organised a week-long national income tax fair across the country from November 14 to 20.
