IPDC Finance Limited has announced the appointment of Mr. Ariful Islam as the Chairman of the Board of Directors. The decision was made at the 213th meeting of the Board of Directors.
Islam is a seasoned professional with over 26 years of experience as a business leader and top executive across various organizations. He has been an integral part of IPDC Finance Limited, serving as a member of the Board Audit Committee and nominated director by the Ayesha Abed Foundation.
Islam currently holds the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at BRAC University since December 2020. In this capacity, he has demonstrated exceptional leadership overseeing finance, IT, procurement, international & scholarship functions.
Prior to joining BRAC University, Islam has held various Director / Senior executive roles with British American Tobacco (BAT) Group across various markets in Asia Pacific and led sustainable growth, development of new strategic direction & business transformation in priority markets like Japan, Korea & Taiwan.
