Popular television actor Apurba and wife Nazia Hassan Audity have gotten divorced after nine years of marriage life as they did not get along with each other.
Apurba’s wife Nazia Hassan Audity confirmed the new of their divorce through a Facebook post Sunday afternoon. However, there were no specific details about the divorce as she said, “I divorced with Apurba, and that is the truth.”
She added, “People need to know about this and hence I told them. I do not want to say anything more. Let private matters remain private.”
Apurba and Audity have a son named Zayyan Faruq Ayyash. She did not say anything about who will have the custody of the child as of yet.
Meanwhile Apurba wrote on his official Facebook Page, “I urge my friends, my colleagues and above all my millions of fans - to think of us with kindness.
Please know that we had our reasons to believe that this is what is best for all of us. Both our families have been anything but supportive, and I hope that so will you so that Me and Nazia can get through this testing times.”
Apurba had earlier married actress Sadia Jahan Prova on August 19, 2010. However, they got divorced in February of the following year. On July 14 of that year, Apurba married Nazia Hassan Audity.
