Ziaul Faruq Apurba and Zakia Bari Mamo have acted in many dramas together. In addition to working in one-hour single episode dramas, they have also worked together in drama series too. ‘Ghore Baire’ is a drama series where the duo has been working recetly. It is being aired on Maasranga Television under the direction of Nazrul Islam Raju. In the meantime, shooting of the last two episodes of the drama series has also ended with Apurba and Mamo.
The drama series starring Apurba and Mamo is ending in January. They have worked on the play for more than two years.
About this, Apurba said, “Ghore Baire has been one of my favorite dramas to work in. There is a lot of underlying massage in this drama. Many experienced and talented artistes have worked in it. There are so many memories with everyone who are connected to this drama.”
Mamo said, “Everyone in this play has played their character fantastically. I worked in it for two years. I have many memories of working in the drama. After working for so long in a drama it feels bad when the time to end it comes around. The drama has received a lot of good response from the audience over the years.”
Apurba and Mamo first acted together in a drama directed by Romana Rashid Ishita. Later, they came into the discussion again by acting in the drama by by Shihab Shaheen titled ‘Neel Projapoti.’
