Bangladesh left-arm spinner Nazmul Islam Apu has been tested negative for the coronavirus in his latest report and freed from the dreadful disease, report agencies.

The left-arm spinner is delighted with his latest coronavirus report of him and his family members.

“I went for a test day before yesterday. I got the report sometimes back,” a delighted Nazmul Islam Apu said. “Everybody has been tested negative. I can’t express my feeling after being freed from the coronavirus,” Apu told Cricfrenzy.com.

“I was in a lot of depression at this time about what will happen. I can’t express my joy after getting rid of deadly coronavirus disease,” he added.

Apu and Mashrafe Bin Mortaza were tested positive for the dreadful disease on the same day.

Nazmul Islam has been distributing food relief to the poor and distressed people around his surroundings in Narayanganj at the beginning of the pandemic.

Some days after his noble work, Apu was tested positive for coronavirus along with his parents on June 20. And since then, they have been self-isolating.
