Asian Productivity Organisation (APO) Society for Bangladesh will take different short term and long term initiatives to implement the National Productivity Master Plan for increasing productivity in different sectors, including industry, service and agriculture.
This information was reveled on Monday at a function of the APO Society for Bangladesh at a hotel in the city, said a press release.
Industries Secretary Md Abdul Halim attended the function as the chief guest while Acting President of the APO Society for Bangladesh and NPO Director SM Ashrafuzzaman was in the chair.
Abdul Halim said the use of information and technology is increasing for the fourth industrial revolution and the competition in the industrial sector is increasing day by day. “For sustaining in the competition, we will have to increase productivity and skilled manpower,” he added.
