The 42nd Annual Conference of District 01 of International Voluntary Organization Apex Club of Bangladesh was held at Agargaon Film Archive on Friday.
Bangladesh Islamic University Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Aminul Haque Bhuiyan was present as the chief guest while Bangladesh Film Archive Secretary General Mo Nazmul Kabir, Apex Club Bangladesh Chairman Sujit Kumar Saha Subrata, National President Mohammad Elias Jasim, Apex Bangladesh Former National President Nizam Uddin Pintu, National Vice President Mahmudul Haque Sabu and others were present as special guests.
Apex Club is a non-political and non-sectarian international service organization. Its main objective is to provide selfless service to the society, to be an ideal citizen, to build a better society and world by establishing friendship among the youth of the same age in the country and abroad. Apex Club of Dhaka was established in Dhaka on July 19, 1961 after its journey first started in Australia in 1931.
Later, with the active efforts of APEX leaders, APEX has spread to almost all the district headquarters of Bangladesh. At present, APEX clubs in Bangladesh are divided into 19 districts (zones) and united in a national organization. The number of chartered clubs is 134 and the number of unchartered clubs is 16 and there are about 5000 Apexian members. This organization is a permanent member of WOCO Foundation (WOCO Foundation), an organization of Apex Global and International Youth Society.
