Dr Anupam Sen, a member of Awami League's advisory council, a sociologist and vice chancellor of Premier University, has been nominated for the post of chairman of the Sub-Committee on Office Affairs of Awami League (AL0.
AL Office Secretary and Prime Minister’s special assistant Biplob Barua greeted Dr Anupam Sen with flowers at the GEC Premier University campus on Saturday.
Barua said the nomination was given by AL President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on the basis of powers bestowed upon her by the AL constitution.
Dr Anupam expressed his gratitude to PM Hasina for the nomination.
Earlier, Dr Anupam Sen was the chairman of AL’s sub-committee on forest and environment affairs.
He also played an important role as a member of the committee for the preparation of the manifesto 'Bangladesh on the path to prosperity' during the national elections in 2018.
