Dinajpur district branch of ADAB, the only coordinator of private development agencies, organised a seminar titled "Youth strength and social harmony needed to prevent terrorism and militancy" at Balubari MBSK auditorium on Thursday.
ADAB Dinajpur Branch President and MBSK Executive Chief Razia Sultana Khatun presided over the programme while Dinajpur District Magistrate Md. Asif Mahmud spoke as the chief guest.
Chairman of Upazila Parishad Imdad Sarkar, Additional Superintendent of Police Aslam Uddin, Officer-in-Charge of Kotwali Police Station Mahbubur Rahman addressed as special guests. Speakers said it was important to identify those who were carrying out militant activities and take appropriate legal action against them.
