Anti-liberation forces desperate again

Led by the Jamaat-e-Islami, anti-Liberation forces have become desperate against the government and the state as well through their various anti-state activities and conspiracies.

As part of their conspiracies, the Jamaat-Shibir men are trying to topple the government led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

Besides, they are also working against the installation of the statue of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at home and abroad while they are also backing extremist groups like the Hefazat-e-Islami.

According to sources, at least 10 secret meetings organised by Jamaat and Shibir were busted in the last few months while over 150 leaders and activists, including Jamaat’s secretary general Mia Golam Parwar were also caught red handed.

Local sources and police said Jamaat and Shibir men remain busy holding secret meetings with the ill-intention of committing subversive acts. They are hatching conspiracies against the government as well as against the state.

As part of their continuous conspiracies and planning of subversive acts, police in a latest move on September 6 arrested 10 central leaders of Jamaat and Shibir from the capital’s Bhatara. All those detained Jamaat-Shibir leaders are now on police remand.

Bhatara police in its remand prayer before the court mentioned that the Jamaat-Shibir men were gathered at a meeting with the ill-motive to harm public security and endanger the country’s sovereignty.

The Jamaat-Shibir men were also hatching conspiracies in an attempt to oust the government illegally, and were trying to make the country unstable.

For the same reasons, police in Nilphamari on the same day (September 6) arrested 28 leaders of Jamaat-Shibir.

Earlier on September 1, police in Rajshahi arrested two Shibir leaders, Rangpur police on August 26 arrested 10 Jamaat leaders, Chapainababganj police arrested 20 leaders of Jamaat-Shibir, Chattogram Police on July 27 arrested 27 leaders of Jamaat-Shibir, Nilphamari Police on May 27 arrested 10 Jamaat leaders, police in Kushtia on December 6 arrested five women leaders of Jamaat, Sirajganj police on July 31 arrested six leaders and activists of Jamaat-Shibir.

Besides, the Jamaat leaders are also always speaking against the arrest of leaders of extremist group Hefazat-e-Islam, which had been carrying out vandalism and anarchies across the country to make the country unstable.

Moreover, Jamaat Secretary General Golam Parwar earlier at a meeting held last October in the capital Dhaka said that there is no alternative to toppling the government.

According to sources, apart from the conspiracy against the government and state, Jamaat-e-Islami also remains active against the installation of the  statue Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at home and abroad. They are working like extremist Islamist group Hefazat-e-Islam.

Jamaat Ameer (Chief) Dr Shafiqur Rahman earlier on December 6 last year in a press release tried to discourage Turkey from installing a statue of Bangabandhu in its capital Ankara.

He said that Turkey was working against Islam by installing a statue of Bangabandhu.

He urged the Turkish government not to install the statue of Bangabandhu.
