Anti-germ tunnel opens in Chuadanga

Disinfecting Tunnel has been set up at Shaheed Hasan Chattor in the town under the auspices of members of Bangladesh Army, 119 Field Workshop Co. EME on May 9 for free from coronavirus of consumers and buyers. 

The tunnel was constructed by Bangladesh Army. It was set up at the request of Deputy Commissioner Nazrul Islam Sarker, sources added. 

Deputy Commissioner Nazrul Islam Sarker inaugurated the tunnel. Superintendent of Police Jahidul Islam, Lieutenant Colonel Ashif, Civil Surgeon AFM Maruf Hasan were present at the inaugural session.  

Deputy Commissioner Nazrul Islam Sarker said some markets in the town have been opened on the eve of Eid Ul Fetre. So to prevent coronavirus the tunnel has been installed for consumers free from virus. 

Lieutenant Colonel Ashif of Bangladesh Army said the buyers have to enter the tunnel through one way, the tunnel spray anti-germs liquid on their bodies for killing the germs.  

Superintendent of Police Jahidul Islam said buyers will return home to be free from virus using the tunnel.  It is learnt that four markets in the town have been taken separate plan to install four tunnels in front of the markets under the auspices of Chuadanga Dukan Malik Samity. 

It may be mentioned here that police will observe to maintain social distance for better health and not to spread germs.  All kinds of vehicles are sprayed through the anti-germ tunnel for killing the germs.
